I spent 369 days rehabilitating and fostering 2 horses from a large seizure case in TN. I started these two horses on Triple Crown Senior and they are currently still on it and look wonderful. One of them is a stallion and was only able to be gelded a few months ago and is still gaining weight but has done very well considering his situation. During the 369 days I cared for these horses but was told that they could be sold or turned back over to their owners just according to how the case went. To make a very long story short the two horses I fostered I was able to adopt and are now mine."

I have owned Max for almost four years now and he was started on Triple Crown Complete two years ago. The PQHA picture is from when we first purchased Max, the WPQHA Picture was last Summer, and the NYS Breeders Picture is Max from Memorial Day Weekend. You can tell just in the difference in his coat, with the rice bran oil in the feed.

I Started using Triple Crown Senior on my 20 or more year old Mule Joe. He did not look very good when I got him and my heart went out to him. So I made sure he would get this product 2 times a day, for the first year I had him. Now 2 years later Joe is Beautiful! All because of Triple Crown. His coat is now shiny and he has life like a 10 year old.

-- Thank You Elise Sweg and Joe !!

Hey there, I have been using your product for coming on 10 years now. I use TC Senior, Complete, and Lite for my different horses in the barn. I couldn't say more about the product and would never change to another feed. I thought I would send you a picture on my lovley retired/rescuded TB mare. I thought maybe in the future you could use her for your Senior feed poster child....she is pictured her at 26 years young! I don't expect she will loose her good condition any time soon so she may look this good at age 30! Thanks for making good feeds that can help me make my horses look like this.

These are pictures of Flower the 66 (soon to be 67) year old donkey and Maggie her best friend whom is 30 years old (diagnosed with cushings this spring) and Sam who is 32 years old. All three are on the Triple Crown Senior with Rice Bran. Flower and Maggie also get a one pound can of Low Starch grain added, with Chaste Tree Berry powder and Remission supplement all soaked into a mush, (all 3 just love their mush!) Flower and Maggie also get some Safe Starch Forage and a little bit of Alfalfa Leaf. While Sam gets some Alfalfa Leaf along with his mush.

All three hardly have any teeth any more. Flower only has about 8 left and they are pretty much the front ones. The few she has in the back are worn even with her gums. Sam and Maggie have more teeth, the ones they have are also worn even with their gums. All of them maintain great on Triple Crown Senior and Rice Bran. I am so pleased with how they look and feel! Every year I used to think would be Flowers last winter, but since I switched to Triple Crown Senior she is so much healthier and looks so much better. She has more energy and is like the energizer bunny (or donkey). I recommend Triple Crown to everyone I meet!

Thank you for all your great help and advice I appreciate it so much, because of Triple Crown and your excellent help on nutrition I get to enjoy my donkeys for many years to come. Thank you for keeping my donkeys, my loves healthy and happy.  --  Sincerely, Barb Proctor

Just a quick note to say "keep up the great work" with your feed line! I have been feeding Triple Crown 10% Textured Performance feed for the 3 years. My 16 year old Standardbred and 27 ish year old pony/horse have done really well on this formula; people always comment on the shiney coats my horses have; the farrier has commented on the improved quality of their hooves and all with out supplements, just your quality feed. This fall I started the pony on Triple Crown Senior, she looked like she needed an "edge" and within weeks her vibrance retruned and she's back to her old self.

There is something to be said for the manner in which you produce your feed, and I don't mind paying a little extra for the peace of mind that I get with Triple Crown Feeds!

Willie has now been on Triple Crown Senior for the last eight years. You would be hard pressed to find a horse that looks this good at the age of twenty-five soon to be twenty-six, God willing! I purchased Willie as a two year old in training in 1986 and raced him at three, we were at Belmont Park during that time. We are both retired here in NC and enjoying life. Thanks for making an excellent product .

I just wanted to send a thank you to the makers of the feed that we have been using. We used to use Purina and I was very hesitant to switch to Triple Crown, but there is not a Purina dealer in the town I live so my fiance finally convinced me to give Triple Crown a try because it was available at our local Southern States store. That was last summer. Boy am I glad we did!

March 31st, I picked up a horse from Louisville, KY that was in such horrible condition our vet wasn't sure if he would make it. He was so starved you could see his entire spine, hips, ribs. His thick winter coat covered a lot. I had to use a handful of hay to coax Moon on the trailer to get him home. He choaked on the hay I gave him even though it was just a handful, that's how starved he was. The paddock he was in was mud and there was one tree in it in which he had eaten all the bark off as high as he could reach.

His mane and tail were full of mud and dread locks, his coat was dull and he was full of rain rot. We had our vet meet us at our house. He came off the trailer so weak he couldn't stand up. Even before we loaded him on the trailer he was so weak he drug his feet when he walked. It took our vet almost three hours of working on him to get the hay out and his esophagus cleared. Of course, we still had a long, uphill road ahead of us. Sandy, our vet, kept cautioning us about how hard it was going to be to bring him back. The first few days we could only feed him watered down hay, breaking the flakes apart. He colicked a few times during the week but came out of each episode. After a couple of days we started giving him dry hay and a watered down Triple Crown Senior mash. He started picking up energy like you can not believe! In a week we stopped watering down the Senior feed. After a month of being on the Senior, we switched him to Triple Crown Complete. I'm sure you hear this all the time but this horse recovered unlike anything I've ever seen!

Our farrier was out five days after we brought Moon home. He was still so weak it took almost two hours to just trim his feet because we would have to give him a break in between feet. He stood very quietly, he just was too weak to hold his feet up for any length of time. Not to mention his feet were in HORRIBLE condition. Five weeks later, Chris, our farrier, came back out. We had Moon in one of our stalls and Chris asked who the new horse was. When I told him that it was Moon, he didn't believe me. He thought Moon had died and we found a horse that looked like him.

We started riding Moon just two months after bringing him home because his spine was no longer prominent, his hips were filling in and his ribs were barely noticeable....after just TWO MONTHS! The only thing he was getting Triple Crown (Senior to start and then Complete), some Timothy/Orchard grass hay and pasture grass.

In three months Moon went to his first show. He had no prior eventing experience. In fact, he had raced as a three year old, then was kicked out to pasture until he was 12 years old. Then the lady I got him from got him. She did not want him, but in order to buy the horse she did want, she had to take Moon as part of the package. She broke him to ride and used him for about a year in beginner lessons. Then she too kicked him out to a small paddock and apparently no feed. When I saw him out in the paddock I knew I had to take him. I told the lady that owned him that I would like to take him and she gladly let me. Of course Randy, my fiance, was not pleased. Here I show up with a near death 14 year old horse that had done pretty much nothing but sit in a field his whole life.

His first event was 4th of July weekend at Hoosier Horse Park. He did very well in dressage for his first time in the ring and his first show! We got a 39, putting us in the middle of the pack at 8th but only 1 rail from 4th place. Stadium was after dressage and he did great! Went double clear. Cross country was next and I was a little nervous because we had only gone schooling once and did not school a water complex. He did great! Went clear and was braver and braver to every fence! We took it easy and had only entered him at Starter but still I thought it was a great first event! He finished in 3rd! Our next event was August 8th at Spring Run, notorious for their difficult cross country course. We had several cross country schoolings under our belt and Moon was doing so well, we moved him up to Beginner Novice. This would be his first w-t-c dressage test. We had worked very hard though and I felt (along with my dressage coach and event coach) that he was ready. Boy was he! He went in the ring and had a beautiful test. We rec'd several 8's and a score of 31.6 putting him in 2nd!

Cross country I was a little nervous again because the jumps were very large and it was a long course. I mean, who would have thought this horse that was almost dead when we got him would be running cross country (at Spring Run nonetheless) four months later? He was great. He came out of the start box and galloped right up and over the first fence. The fences that I were worried about (they were over BN height) were a breeze and he again went double clean cross country. Stadium was a breeze also. He finished on his dressage score in 2nd place!

The following weekend we went to Long Run Hounds Hunter Pace. I was a little weary because I wasn't sure if Moon was in good enough shape for a 5 mile hunter pace but my coaches kept saying he was. Boy was he! He jumped all the HUGE jumps on the course and he LOVED it. Our team finished in one of the fastest times of the day and he had plenty of energy to spare as he trotted all the way back to paddock we had reserved about a mile away. He was so proud of himself he did a little jigging trot the whole way, leading our team of four horses! Not only has he turned out to be a great horse for me but my five year daughter just loves him as well. He's a big built TB and stands almost 16.2 hands so she's tiny on him. But he takes care of her and packs her around the arena or field. I know I went on and on about him but it really is an amazing story and I feel that your feed helped Moon make the recovery he did!

He went from being a starved, unwanted horse in someone's paddock to a large, healthy, vibrant and talented event horse in just a few short months! So, again thank you so much for providing such great feed! Triple Crown is the ONLY feed we feed at our barn. We have the Growth for our yearling, Senior for a boarder's mare that is a hard keeper and Complete for everything else. All of our horses are healthy and have great coats! We don't feed any additional supplements for feet, coat, condition, etc. The only supplement we do feed is to Moon which is a joint supplement."

Thank you for responding to the recent Horse Journal questionnaire about the quality control for your feeds. By now you must know that you were one of only four out of sixty-five manufacturers who replied. For that alone Triple Crown deserves high praise.

I've just finished reading the comparison chart on page 4 of the June 2009 Horse Journal issue and am now even more impressed and reassured. I have used Triple Crown Senior for nearly a decade, both for the horse I own now and for his predecessor, who thrived on your feed from his late teens until his untimely death (pasture accident) at age 23. I recently had looked into another prominent brand which would cost roughly two dollars less per bag. That manufacturer did not respond to the questionnaire, and will not be getting my business. Triple Crown will, for as long as my 17-year-old Thoroughbred gelding lives, which I hope will be many years to come -- the odds of which happening are surely improved by sticking with your high-quality feed. I'll also be sure to recommend your products to anyone who asks for a recommendation.

Again, thank you for taking the time and effort to answer the Horse Journal's questionnaire, and for producing such an excellent feed for my most excellent companion.

Rusty is a 30 year old morgan. He belongs to my best friend Pam. Last fall he was really going down hill. Because of his teeth, or lack thereof, he was unable to get proper nutrition. She tried several feeds with no result. She left him with me while she went back east for nine weeks. Before she left she found your product and started him on it. I continued to feed him only Triple Crown Senior. He eats no hay or any other supplements, just a mineral block and clean, fresh water. I think the pictures speak for themself. Your product is amazing.

This is my 10 year old OTTB gelding Wish Mount. Over the past 2 years I have worked with Robin and the other staff members of Triple Crown Feed to develop the best feeding program for my horse. I discussed Wish Mount's issues with Robin and she developed a feeding program that has more than met his nutritional needs. It is very difficult keeping an ulcer prone Thoroughbred in good weight and healthy. With the proper balance of Triple Crown Senior feed, Triple Crown Fish Oil Powder and Triple Crown Rice Bran Oil, Wish Mount is now looking the best he has in the 5 years I have owned him. I love Triple Crown products.

Here are some pics of the 14 yr old Saddlebred rescue mare I talked to you about yesterday afternoon. When we got her last October she taped at approximately 875# (she's about 16h). The left facing one was from Dec, before the snow and cold weather and before we started her - on your recommendation - on TC Senior. She had started to gain some weight on good grass hay and after being wormed, but she really took off with your product and feeding recommendation. You can see a huge difference in her weight and coat condition in the pictures from Tues, 5/22. I haven't re-taped her recently, but when i last checked, she had put on over 300#!

She's bright and has plenty of energy - definitely not a dead-head, but she's not hot or hyper on this feed.

Thank you, not only for a fine product, but for the wonderful customer service you provided us. This was our first experience with a rescue horse. Because of the positive experience, we'll be sharing the pictures w/the other rescues and friends who own horses. We have to travel over 20 mi. to get Triple Crown, but it's well worth it, as you can see. I enjoyed talking with you, and look forward to giving you another progress report and some pictures as soon as our rescue filly sheds out.

Triple Crown Feeds ROCK! After two of my friends saw my coming yearling they switched to Triple Crown Growth. We show and raise Quarter Horses. Our big horses are fed Triple Crown complete and our babies are fed Triple Crown growth. I have been feeding it for about 4 years and WOW what a difference. At the All American Quarter Horse Congress our aged horse just glowed. His coat is amazing! Everybody asks what product we use, and I have to tell them that it his feed that makes him look this way. Our babies probably outweigh babies from the same foal crop by 100 to 150 lbs and look wonderful.
Thank you for making such a great product. I love it!!   --  Michelle

I have been feeding Triple Crown for 10 years now. I have also sent before and after pictures of the very first horse I put on Triple Crown. Since that time it is the only feed I use! It dramatically changed my Thoroughbred and keep my Friesian in superb athletic condition. I used to live in MN and would drive to the cities from St. Cloud just to buy Triple Crown. Now I am in NC and can get it right down the street at Southern States.... I think everyone should use it!

I am such a big fan of Triple Crown feed I would be proud to wear a Triple Crown T-shirt so please put that on your "to do" list. Triple Crown was a life saver for my older mare that had Cushing's for the last 6 years of her life, making it to the grand ole age of 33 before I lost her to something unrelated to her diet or disease. I've also fed an older gelding TC Senior, he lived to be 35 when I lost him to cancer. Now I'm presently feeding TC Senior to my 23 year old mare and TC Lite to my 6 year old Arabian/Paint who is insulin resistant. I truly could not be any happier with your feed selections and availability of your Nutritionist Kelly Payne when I have dietary questions.....in fact, I never make a change without consulting with her first.

Someone gave me a 21 yr. old that was very poor. I started her on Triple Crown Senior. Within 3 months she put all her weight back on. No more bones showing. Thank you - it saved her life. It's a wonderful product!

I have been feeding Triple Crown Senior to my mare since she had colic surgery in 2002. Most people cannot believe she is 17 this year. There is no need for vitamin supplements, just good hay and pasture. I have tried other Senior brands and there is no comparison! My other mare is on Triple Crown Low Starch, it keeps her energy level manageable and she looks great. Never have to worry about the formulas changing like some other brands! Thank you Triple Crown Feeds!

I have a full service facility here in NH and I have everything from weanlings to older horses topping 33+ years, I have several clients horses that have cushings and have come to me very malnourished. I have been feeding TC Senior and TC Growth and they have all flourished on it! I even have some of my show horses that are no more than 9 yrs old eating TC Senior and I have had numerous comments on these horses when they come out of the show pen as reserve and world champions. Most of my horses have come to us as abused and starved horses and all have gone on to be very competitive.

We fed our old paint mare who has cushings other brands of senior feed for the last 15 yrs. However she started losing weight last year so we switched to T.C. Senior and she gained her weight back and is still keeping it on! I will never go back to other brands! This works so well and everyone comments how great she looks, and can't believe that she is 29 years old!
