My 1d barrel horse is a hard keeper. I have him on TC complete and he looks and feels great. Before I feed him Purina but when I moved to Quincy there is not a Purina dealer around. So I bought a couple of bags of triple crown complete. He has never looked better. Thanks.

Just wanted to say THANKS!
I have a 26 year old QHxTB that had colic surgery last year - he came back eating TC Senior, and now often gets mistaken for a 13 or 14 year old.
He looks better than he ever has, and he FEELS better, too.
Also, just a note to say that your customer service team ROCKS. I've done a lot of researching and question asking over the years, and it is always the Triple Crown folks who call, write, and email me back. You all have a top-notch operation. Keep up the good work!

I started with triple crown complete 8 weeks prior to going to the world racking show, her coat looked awesome for it. Her hoofs never could hold a shoe and now her shoes stay on. The overal performance and quality is great and will always feed triple crown from now on.

I just wanted to send a thank you to the makers of the feed that we have been using. We used to use Purina and I was very hesitant to switch to Triple Crown, but there is not a Purina dealer in the town I live so my fiance finally convinced me to give Triple Crown a try because it was available at our local Southern States store. That was last summer.
Boy am I glad we did! March 31st, I picked up a horse from Louisville, KY that was in such horrible condition our vet wasn't sure if he would make it. He was so starved you could see his entire spine, hips, ribs. I attached pictures, however, he looked much worse in person. His thick winter coat covered a lot. Plus, we took the pictures in the barn.
I used a handful of hay to coax Moon on the trailer to get him home. He choaked on the hay I gave him even though it was just a handful. That's how starved he was. The paddock he was in was mud. There was one tree in it in which he had eaten all the bark off as high as he could reach. His mane and tail were full of mud and dread locks. His coat was dull and he was full of rain rot.
We had our vet meet us at our house. He came off the trailer so weak he couldn't stand up. Even before we loaded him on the trailer he was so weak he drug his feet when he walked.
It took our vet almost three hours of working on him to get the hay out and his esophagus cleared. Of course, we still had a long, uphill road ahead of us. Sandy, our vet, kept cautioning us about how hard it was going to be to bring him back.
The first few days we could only feed him watered down hay, breaking the flakes apart. He colicked a few times during the week but came out of each episode. After a couple of days we started giving him dry hay and a watered down Triple Crown Senior mash. He started picking up energy like you can not believe! In a week we stopped watering down the Senior feed. After a month of being on the Senior, we switched him to Triple Crown Complete.
I'm sure you hear this all the time but this horse recovered unlike anything I've ever seen!
Our farrier was out five days after we brought Moon home. He was still so weak it took almost two hours to just trim his feet because we would have to give him a break in between feet. He stood very quietly, he just was too weak to hold his feet up for any length of time. Not to mention his feet were in HORRIBLE condition.
Five weeks later, Chris, our farrier, came back out. We had Moon in one of our stalls and Chris asked who the new horse was. When I told him that it was Moon, he didn't believe me. He thought Moon had died and we found a horse that looked like him.
We started riding Moon just two months after bringing him home because his spine was no longer prominent, his hips were filling in and his ribs were barely noticeable....after just TWO MONTHS! The only thing he was getting Triple Crown (Senior to start and then Complete), some Timothy/Orchard grass hay and pasture grass.
In three months Moon went to his first show. He had no prior eventing experience. In fact, he had raced as a three year old, then was kicked out to pasture until he was 12 years old. Then the lady I got him from got him. She did not want him, but in order to buy the horse she did want, she had to take Moon as part of the package. She broke him to ride and used him for about a year in beginner lessons. Then she too kicked him out to a small paddock and apparently no feed. When I saw him out in the paddock I knew I had to take him. I told the lady that owned him that I would like to take him and she gladly let me. Of course Randy, my fiance, was not pleased. Here I show up with a near death 14 year old horse that had done pretty much nothing but sit in a field his whole life.
His first event was 4th of July weekend at Hoosier Horse Park. He did very well in dressage for his first time in the ring and his first show! We got a 39, putting us in the middle of the pack at 8th but only 1 rail from 4th place. Stadium was after dressage and he did great! Went double clear. Cross country was next and I was a little nervous because we had only gone schooling once and did not school a water complex. He did great! Went clear and was braver and braver to every fence! We took it easy and had only entered him at Starter but still I thought it was a great first event! He finished in 3rd!
Our next event was August 8th at Spring Run, notorious for their difficult cross country course. We had several cross country schoolings under our belt and Moon was doing so well, we moved him up to Beginner Novice. This would be his first w-t-c dressage test. We had worked very hard though and I felt (along with my dressage coach and event coach) that he was ready. Boy was he! He went in the ring and had a beautiful test. We rec'd several 8's and a score of 31.6 putting him in 2nd!
Cross country I was a little nervous again because the jumps were very large and it was a long course. I mean, who would have thought this horse that was almost dead when we got him would be running cross country (at Spring Run nonetheless) four months later? He was great. He came out of the start box and galloped right up and over the first fence. The fences that I were worried about (they were over BN height) were a breeze and he again went double clean cross country. Stadium was a breeze also. He finished on his dressage score in 2nd place!
The following weekend we went to Long Run Hounds Hunter Pace. I was a little weary because I wasn't sure if Moon was in good enough shape for a 5 mile hunter pace but my coaches kept saying he was. Boy was he! He jumped all the HUGE jumps on the course and he LOVED it. Our team finished in one of the fastest times of the day and he had plenty of energy to spare as he trotted all the way back to paddock we had reserved about a mile away. He was so proud of himself he did a little jigging trot the whole way, leading our team of four horses!
Not only has he turned out to be a great horse for me but my five year daughter just loves him as well. He's a big built TB and stands almost 16.2 hands so she's tiny on him. But he takes care of her and packs her around the arena or field.
I know I went on and on about him but it really is an amazing story and I feel that your feed helped Moon make the recovery he did! He went from being a starved, unwanted horse in someone's paddock to a large, healthy, vibrant and talented event horse in just a few short months! I attached several pictures of Moon on the first day we got him and a couple of recent photos taken in August.
So, again thank you so much for providing such great feed! Triple Crown is the ONLY feed we feed at our barn. We have the Growth for our yearling, Senior for a boarder's mare that is a hard keeper and Complete for everything else. All of our horses are healthy and have great coats! We don't feed any additional supplements for feet, coat, condition, etc. The only supplement we do feed is to Moon which is a joint supplement.
Please continue providing such quality feed as we are probably your most loyal customers!!!

Thank You for making such a great feed. So many feed companies formulate senior feed without considering the extra fat needs of senior horses. Not all seniors are easy keepers. I have a senior mare that is in her mid thirties. Nothing I did was keeping weight on her. She would not be here if it were not for your feed. She now has the spunk to squeel and kick (double barrel) again, and she even runs around the pasture. I am grateful to you as she belongs to my 5 year old son and to have to do the unthinkable would have been doubly hard.

Triple Crown, Thank you for such great products! I know Flower, Maggie Mae and Samson (my elderly donkeys one with cushings) would not be here today and doing so well if it were not for Triple Crown Senior feed, my feed store has to special order all Triple Crwon Feeds but they are happy to do so and it is well worth the extra effort and price! Thank You for making such a superior product line for all equines, and for all the help from Robin as to how I should best feed each individual. TC you are the greatest.

My name is Sarah Armstrong. You recently sent me a coupon for your "Senior" Triple Crown Horse Feed. Thank You! I have to pay $15.50 a bag plus tax at Southern States. However, it is money well spent as you can see. I am sending pictures of my (2) rescue mares. Molly 'the boy' - 22 y.o. (+,-) & Ginger (grey) 15 y.o. (+,-). As the pictures show, your feed has dramaticly affected my horses. Especially Molly in the last (3) months. I obtained her September 22nd, 2007. She has been on your Senior feed and hay only. Plus I have wormed her several times. Also I did have her on vitamin supplements for a while. She was a walking bag of bones. Now the two mares are on a pasture and your feed for maintenance. Thanks again for the coupon and for making such a great feed.

I just wanted to take a minute to tell you what wonderful folks work at Farmers & Planters in Salisbury Maryland. They have always been so courteous & helpful, no matter how busy they might have been! I recently rescued an 18 year Q-h gelding in September who was several hundred pounds under weight. The girls at F&T took the time to explain the feed choices and what would be best for "Copper". I put him on a mix of Triple Crown Senior & Complete feed. WOW!!!!!! In less than 2 months, Copper has put on about 100 lbs, and is so happy & energetic (but not too much!!!) His coat, mane & tail are shiny & soft.I also have my other horse,Sonny on TC.He was on Complete, and the change in him were also great, except Sonny is a FEW pounds overweight! He's now on TC Lite.He has his winter coat now,and he is like Copper;all soft & shiny!I just got a bag of Rice bran pellets for copper to help him through the winter months as we can get some pretty cold weather here on the eastern shore! The only thing that concerns me is the "choking" factor with pelleted feed. But I mix warm water with it and it makes a nice warm mash which my boys LOVE! Plus, it's worth the extra time to ensure they have no digestive/swallowing problems. I am enclosing pictures on both Copper & Sonny for you to see for yourself! I took a picture of before & after of Copper to Farmers & Planters and the girls put it up on their bulletin board for other customers to see. Please feel free to forward this to the company that makes the Triple Crown line of horse nutrition. Again thanks for great service and great products!

I just thought you would be intersted in my horse's story. We rescued him from his previous owner four months ago. He was so weak and thin from being starved he could barely stand up for more than 30 minutes at a time. You could not only see all of his ribs and spine, but also his entire pelvis. Our vet wasn't sure if he would pull through or not. We started him slowly on wetted down Triple Crown Sr (he's 14 years old)and watered down hay. After a couple of weeks of feeding the Senior, we switched him to Triple Crown Complete. He has recovered amazingly and now just 4 months later, he is successfully competing at Beginner Novice level eventing (he had no prior eventing experience) and is schooling Novice. The quality of your feed speaks for itself in Moon's case. We have not fed him any supplements or additives, strictly Triple Crown feed and grass hay. We did not have high hopes of him recovering let alone competing three months after we got him. I just wanted to say thank you so much for providing such excellent feed! Everyone I've shown pictures of my horse when we got him and pictures of him now is just amazed!

I have been using your timothy cubes for about 5 years I have 3 horses and they have done very well I get comments all the time about how good they look. People can't believe I feed only your cubes. And they are so convenient. I travel a lot on the west coast and there are some hays you cannot bring into California.
Thank you..........David Trachsel

I switched to Triple Crown approximately 6-8 months ago and am extremely pleased with the changes I have noticed. My endurance horse has won two races this year defeating more than 70 horses in each race while on TC Complete. She also won both races barefoot. I mention this since nutrition directly affects hoof quality. Her coats shines and she looks great. I am also pleased with how TC Low Starch has affected my 21 year old Arabian gelding. His allergies and related itching are gone and his coat shines. He also maintains his weight well on TC Low Starch. In addition to the feed quality, I am extremely pleased with the customer service quality at TC. Robin goes over and beyond to assist as have local distributors for TC. Thanks!

Triple Crown Senior has literally save my horses' life. My 37 year old Palomino "Bud" did not look like he was going to make it through another winter. We started him on Triple Crown last fall and he has put on 150 lbs. and acts like a young boy. My grandson and I have been riding him again and he is very proud of himself. It is like a miracle. This horse is my best friend. Thank you.

I have a mini that I have owned for 5 years now. When I bought him the previous owner sent him to me with this list of feeding instructions because apparently she had had problems with him before, of which she did not inform me of before I purchased him, so for awhile I followed her instructions until it just became overwhelming and I was having problems with him colicking anyway, so I changed him slowly to sweet feed and pellets, which we always fed our full sized horses, and still having colicking problems. My vet recommended I get your Triple Crown Complete for him but I didn't listen until about a year ago. I have had him and all my other minis on your Triple Crown Complete and Safe Starch Forage for about a year now and have had no other problems with this mini. They all look much better without those big bellies you often see them with and they are much happier and healthier then I have ever seen them. I recommend your feed to anyone that will listen to my story.

Dear Robin,
I wanted to tell you about a pretty incredible case where I used Triple Crown 30% Supplement. One of my mares got kicked and fractured her hind splint bone, actually into the lower hock joint. No vet said she was going to make it as it was the worst fracture they had ever seen. Because it was open, there was no hope for surgery or plating. I decided to give her a chance and see what she would do if given proper nutrition and rehab care. I put her on a pound a day of the 30% and that was 2 months ago. She has gone from three legged lame to essentially sound. The vets cannot figure it out-but my idea is that bone cannot heal without proper mineral balance and I am confident that the 30% has been giving her excellent nutritional support for this injury's accelerated healing rate. She has been on no medications or supplements other than the first week.
Normally I would feel the need to supplement a case like this but I am very confident in your products and your knowledge.
I do not think this mare would be here today without your product. We go back for new xrays next week and I will let you know what we find....all I can say is she is walking and trotting like nothing hurts, and there is no heat anywhere on the leg. Something good must be going on inside that leg.
THANKYOU

I have been using Triple Crown Senior for about 3 years now. My old horses look and feel fantastic. I have a 29 year old Saddlebred Gelding and a 36 year old Hackney Pony. They look absolutely great since I switched them to Triple Crown Senior. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

I started my horse on Triple Crown Senior when he was 15. The vet had recommended a senior feed because of his arthritis. Whithin two weeks of starting him on the diet he gained weight, his muscle tone looked much better and his coat and feet are healthy and shiny. He has been on Triple Crown Senior for four years now.
I have fed my horses other products but end up feeding them more of other brands and, as a result, end up spending more money.

I work for the Clay Co. Sheriffs Office as their animal cfruelty investigator. We have used Triple Crown products on horses that vets have said could not gain weight and proved them wrong. I recently changed my horses over to Triple Crown and have seen a dramatic change in them. You use less feed which saves youn money with better results and healthier better conditioned horses. We have riding horses and broodmares. I recommend Triple Crown to the people we investigate that have poor looking animals and will recommend it to all my friends and family.

THANK YOU! Triple Crown for your Low Starch feed!! My 18-year thorougbred calmed right down and became very easy to ride and handle once I switched him to this feed. I wish I had known about your product years ago! I'll never feed him anything else. P.S.-It has made his coat very shiny too!

THANK YOU!!! Thank you for understanding the needs of "metabolically challenged" horses. Your Triple Crown Safe Starch forage has been a blessing for my insulin resistant and recovering laminitic Morgan. She gets soaked hay, but I still need something safe to feed her to get her supplements into her. She refuses to eat beet pulp which is most recommended for IR horses, but she loves Safe Starch! Thank you so much!

I just wanted to relate my experience w/ Triple Crown Low Starch over the past two or so years.
My 27- yr old Appendix gelding, Buddy, developed Cushings w/ insulin resistance in 2004. He floundered badly
because of it, and developed liver trouble. I had him at New Bolton in Oct 2004 and the prognosis was not good. Anyway fast forward to 2007.
Buddy is doing remarkably well after putting him on medication for the Cushings, taking him barefoot with a bit of an exreme trim, and changing his diet to T/C Low Starch. His blood tests the last year have come back 100% clean to my own and my vet's amazement. I'm convinced (albeit my
evidence is anecdotal) that T/C Low Starch had a lot to do with his recovery and continued vitality. He now is chief baby-sitter for two new young horses, and enjoys his days of happy retirement. I can dig up more details if you're interested.
My old feed supplier (free deliveries) doesn't carry Triple Crown, so I now make a once- a-month hour and-a-half round trip to pick up Buddy's feed. At this point, I'm not taking any chances!

I am fortunate to have two healthy, easy to maintain equine buddies and feed you Triple Crown 10% Preformace feed. I am pleased at the beautiful shine to their coats and overall roabust appearance they have. Having a 23year old pony, it is nice to know that there is a wonderful senior product avaiable when she is ready for it, and my 13 year old Standardbred has plenty of get up and go without the worry of supplements and I have no worries about what is missing in their diet since everything is there. Thank you for making such a wonderful product line and maintining quality standards.

All four horses are doing very well on your TC low Starch. The attitudes are good, coats very shiny. They seem content and well adjusted in a way that I have never really ever seen them and not real sure quite how to explain it except that I have had these horses for many years (one for
16 years) and they are doing better now than ever before. I wanted to take the time to thank you for that.
We recommend your products to all our customers and send all we can to Carriage Hill Feeds in Lenior City, TN. A lot of our customers drive quite far to get your products, it would be nice to have a dealer closer by.
Again, I wanted to thank you and your company for such a high quality product. We do not take lightly to recommending a product, only something we know will reflect well on us and be the best for the horse. With all that I have done and do for my equines here when I use a product that makes such a noticeable difference in the health and well being of not just one but four horses, then it gets my attention, seriously.

About two years ago I noticed my 19 year old mare was dropping weight. She was pregnant. Not knowing this until just a week before the birth she had no prenatal care what-so-ever. In fact, I was told she could not get pregnant.
I was in college at the time and just recovering from a move. We were feeding 20 pounds twice a day to keep her going. Later I found out that Triple Crown was in the state close to me, so we switched to growth. The foal who was very weqk is now, excuse the pun, eating like a horse. She has grown to be very strong and I am looking forward to keeping with Triple crown through the foal's competing years.
You are not making a mistake with Triple Crown. In fact, if it was not for this feed and the greatest vet and friend in the world, neither mare or foal would be alive.

Your TC Senior has really helped my 29yr old QH. I have tried several senior feeds and he has done the best on TC Senior. My vet was happy as she put it he had fat pockets for a change. Thank you for a great feed.

I bought a pony a couple of years ago. She was overwieght, had problems with chronic colic, was recovering from founder, and beginning to show first stage signs of cushings disease....long curley coat and metabolic disorder. To make matters worse, she had patches of hair falling out as a result of rain rot. I began feeding Triple Crown Lite at the recommendation of my vet. I began to see improvements in her appearance within about 3 months. The following spring, she remained a bit on the chunky side, but her coat was sleek and shiny and dappled. Her muscling improved with a little exercise and the lumpy crest slowly began melting away. With regular trims, her hooves look good too and the ferrier is not sure that she has ever foundered. Now, how much is a result of your good feed, and how much is a result of plain old fashioned good care, I do not know. I do think good horse husbandy includes doing a little research into your horses feed and supplementation requirements. I see that Triple Crown has done that. I have all my horses on Triple Crown products now. One of the things I like most about your product, is that I do not feel the need to use additional supplements. It is all conveniently packed in there, in the right proportions, taking the guesswork and additional expense out of the equation. When I go to other farms, I always note how much healthier my horses coats, hooves, and general body condition is in comparision. Thankyou, Triple Crown, for making my job as horse owner so much simpler.

I am the proud new owner of a 28 yr. old thoroughbred gelding. His owner of 20 years had to sadly give him up after 20 yrs. due to finances. Needless to say he was in very poor shape.
I recently attended a NARHA conference and met Mr. Potter. He told me about Triple Crown Senior. I started him immediately, with not much result. I found out the barn owner had been slighting his portion. We moved. He was switched and continued to decline. I now have him at home where is fed TCS in the right amount and looks great!!! The previous owner had thought he was ready to retire. Au contraire! He runs circles around every age trail horse we've ridden with. I will never use anything else.
I now have a young horse I am experimenting with, but it will be nothing but Triple Crown Products. I am an RN, you have the right stuff.

Kudos to Triple Crown Feed!! You have really done your homework and are leading the market in equine nutrition. I am the horse manager of Castraway Acres Horse Rescue and your senior feed is the meat and potatoes of our operation. I never need to worry about new horses coming in that are emaciated and have any health issues. I can start them on TCS immediately and know they are safe from starches and carbs that can exacerbate problems in horses that have metabolic or laminitic tendencies. The feed is so easily digestible that a horse with no teeth at all will benefit from it.
You pack the probiotics right into your feed for those upset bellies and no company out there can touch your fat content while keeping the starch as low as you do. The best thing about TCS is that THEY LIKE IT! Thanks for making my job easy! Every horse in our barn gets it whether they are 1 year old or 35 and we love it! Keep up the good work! Norma

I want to share with you that Triple Crown Low Starch feed saved my mare's
life.
I have a five year old 1200 pound champion palomino halter/color show mare
that was diagnosed with starch storage myopathy in 2005. This mare had
always been high strung and flighty. She frequently had severe tying up and
had deep red urine any time she had the least amount of exercise. Vets put
her on "no starch" diet. Within months she was emaciated, bony, dry brittle
thick coat and dull mental affect. I tried various brands of "low starch" feeds
and she would begin to tie up again. I was advised that the mare was in all
probability going to die.
Last March I went to the Indiana Horse Fair and stopped at the Triple Crown
booth. The people were very kind, informative and sent some feed home
with me. Three months after starting Triple Crown Low Starch my beautiful
show mare was coming around. She put on about 200 pounds, shed the
shaggy dull coat and was alert and bright eyed. Six months after starting the
feed she is show quality, coat is shining, has all of her weight back and has
had no incidents of tying up. The mare's attitude is great, she is not flighty
and is willing to learn and work.
The Triple Crown Low Starch feed has been truly amazing. Had I not actually
seen the dramatic results I do not think I could have believed it. I tell anyone
that has issues with flighty horses or tying up to try your feed. I truly thank
you for your dedication to the equine industry and the research you have
done to improve the lives of horses.

I learned about Triple Crown products at the feed store when I was desperately searching for something my heavy mare could safely eat. Complete filled the bill nicely. When the 26-year-old gelding developed cancer and lost most of his teeth, Complete soaked in water and your chopped, fortified grass forage kept him in great shape right to the end. My vets were amazed to see him gaining weight and his coat shining and healthy-looking. Now all my horses get Complete. They all look wonderful, and I don't worry as much about variations in hay ration or quality causing colic. Even the picky eater will consume as much Complete as I choose to feed. I'm looking forward to trying Triple Crown Lite on my new mini. I'm sure it'll work like a charm!

THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH! Your products have literally saved my horse's life! He's had a rough year and we were almost at the point of making the decision to put him down. He was refusing to eat, wouldn't lay down, roll, or run around and play anymore. The vet was out over 4 times and couldn't find anything wroing with him. I had been feeding Vintage Senior (he's only 11, but his teeth had never been done in his life when I got him last July, and he still can't eat properly.) Then a new horsey friend brought a quart of both the Senior and Low Starch Formulas along with the Rice Oil and Forage Cubes. He can't get enough of them! He's well on his way to gaining weight and I can't wait to send you the before and after pictures!
